July 2026

July was an especially stormy month. On this day, I noticed a huge cloud formation north of my house. I knew that this was a photo worth chasing. My wife and I got in the car and drove to one of our favourite places, Pavan Park. This old Cottonwood tree is an iconic view in the park. It is well over 80 years old and, every time we see it, we say, "Wow, it's still standing." I love the atmosphere that was created by the rugged, old tree and the contrasting, natural element of a violent storm.
