Photo prints should be hung indoors out of direct sunlight. Acrylics can be used outdoors but should also be out of direct sunlight. You can clean the acrylic with a damp, soft cloth. The 8"x10" mounted photo is laminated with a clear, fine texture coating on top of the photo for added resistance to scratches and handling. When the foam board and laminate are combined like this, you can frame without glass out of direct sunlight. Metal Sublimation prints have a back mount frame. They can be cleaned with a damp, soft cloth.
